Here's what you need to know about your first telehealth appointment:
Our electronic health record system Simple Practice has a an easy to use secure video chat system. Here’s what you need to now about the transition:
You’ll be sent a link for the video appointment. Click on it when our appointment is scheduled to start or open it through the Telehealth by SimplePractice app (download free in the app store). You can use the camera and audio on your computer or mobile device. More on that in #3.
You’ll receive notification via the Simple Practice portal to complete a new form entitle, Telehealth Informed Consent. Please read and sign accordingly. This is a similar process to what you did when you first registered for services.

As soon as it is safe to do so, we will transition back to face-to-face appointments. Zoey has several clients in whom she already sees via video chat and the treatment is just as effective. Therapists and clients have been practicing telehealth for years and have reported the same.
