Zoey Holguin, MSMFT, IMFT-S
Zoey Holguin is an independent marriage and family therapist licensed in both Ohio and California with a supervisor designation specializing in individual relationship therapy and couples counseling.
Zoey uses a systems based approach believing no individual can be understood in a vacuum but has to be understood in terms of their relational and social context. She also is strength-based and recovery-focused believing everyone poses within them positive attributes and potential to live a full and meaningful life. Additionally, she also employs adult attachment interventions, psychodynamic approach, and emotionally focused therapy, in which she has received advanced training.
Prior to opening her virtual private practice in Ohio & California, she has worked in community mental health settings serving such populations as those with severe mental health diagnoses, at-risk youth and gero-psych inpatient populations. She has also spent considerable time in leadership and management roles in the mental health field and currently supervises other therapists working towards their independent licensure. Zoey is sought out by other therapists and group practice owners for practice, leadership and business coaching due to her success as a practice owner and in leadership roles.
Zoey hails from the sunny land of California and in her spare time enjoys reading, has a fondness for true crime, strong coffee, paper planners, houseplants, gardening and spending time with her family.
