She also is strength-based and recovery-focused believing everyone poses within them positive attributes and potential to live a full and meaningful life. Additionally, she also employs adult attachment interventions, psychodynamic approach, and exclusively uses emotionally focused therapy for couples, in which she has received advanced training, to assist her clients in realizing their full potential and healing their hurts.
Prior to opening her private practice in Cleveland Heights, she has worked in community mental health settings serving such populations as those with severe mental health diagnoses, at-risk youth and geropsych inpatient populations. She has also spent considerable time in leadership and management roles in the mental health field and currently supervises other therapists working towards their independent licensure. Zoey is sought out by other therapists and group practice owners for practice, leadership and business coaching due to her success as a practice owner and in leadership roles.
Zoey hails from the sunny land of California and in her spare time enjoys reading, has a fondness for true crime, strong coffee, paper planners, and spending time with her family.
